Enjoy a golf getaway to historic Pinehurst, North Carolina and support the Illinois PGA Foundation’s Meyer-Brown Educational Scholarship Endowment. Illinois PGA Professionals, along with three amateurs travel to the beautiful sand hills of North Carolina each fall to raise funds for the Alice Meyer-Brown and Louis M. Brown scholarships in support of student golfers who have demonstrated success throughout high school both in the classroom and on the course.
Illinois 'Support Youth Golf' License Plate Program – In collaboration with the Illinois Secretary of State's Office, proceeds from the sales of the license plate benefit the Illinois PGA Foundation and its charitable purpose of introducing the game to young people. Grants from the license plate have been used to sponsor jobs, scholarships and school-based programming for Illinois youth.
Birdies for Charity Program – The Illinois PGA Foundation’s Birdies for Charity is a one-day fund raising event to support non-industry charitable organizations throughout the area. Illinois PGA professionals tee-it-up to play 72-holes in one day with the goal of making as many birdies as they can. Donors make a financial pledge per birdie to support each Professional. Illinois PGA Professionals have helped raise over $500,000 for deserving charities since the event’s inception in 2011.
Illinois PGA Tournament Player Donation - Illinois PGA Professionals who participate in the tournament program throughout the season have the option of donating $5 to the Illinois PGA Foundation every time they enter a tournament.
